I have found a recipe for digestives that I would like to try that needs oatmeal. I couldn't find any in Asda yesterday but I have ordinary porridge oats. I thought I might try whizzing them down in the food processor and then using them. Has anyone else tried this?

Ripening Kiwi Fruit
Are there any clever tricks to encourage Kiwi fruit to ripen? I bought some about a week or so ago and they're still rock hard and inedible. I've tried leaving them in a bowl with some bananas but it seems to have had no effect. Thanks

Refreezing beef?
I've bought some fresh beef and froze it on day of purchase. I plan on defrosting it then cooking in slow cooker. The question is can I freeze the cooked beef as it says on the packet once defrosted do not refreeze. :confused:
