New flat - no freezer!
Ok, so we're moving to a cheaper flat to get this debt paid off even quicker but the fridge/freezer has only one of those little shelf freezers at the top - enough for an ice cube tray and not much else. What other ways do people know of preserving things? I used to make a lot in bulk and freeze (which we're eating up now…

yesterdays chilli
Hi gang, yesterday was my sons birthday and I made too much food and also a too big chilli. All excess food has been recycled to freezer etc but am not sure what to do with the chilli, I know it would be ok in itself but it was all mixed in the pot with rice and I know you have to be careful with reheating rice. Any ideas…

Mini Loaf Tins - recipe help please
Counted up our pennies this morning and we had £2.70 to go car booting with my DS. He fell in love with a DK CD-rom - a science one - £1.50. I managed to negotiate for a dozen mini loaf tins at 10p each. He is now happily engrossed in his Science Explorer - and I'm in the kitchen staring at my newly washed tins. What would…
