Hi again i need some advice for using my SC - Still getting used to it.
I am cooking at the moment, beef and veg, but was reading on here that you should use enough water to cover the veg. Well i did this, but it seems a lot of liquid in there. I am doing this right.
I was just hoping it doesn;t spoil the beef.
I can freeze any left over thats not a problem.

Hoping that when I start looking after the pennies, and the pounds will take care of them selves :j

Better to use too much water and have tender beef than have it cook dry. You will probably find that once it's been stewing for ages the water will have turned into yummy gravy. If there's still a lot, try popping some potatoes cut into medium sized pieces in with the stew. They are delicious done this way, they seem to absorb the flavour of the meat. Alternatively, leave the lid off for the last hour of cooking, but pay attention that it doesn't reduce too much.0
