Sat Nav wrong location

Brake fluid query
Noticed on my Ford Focus (2006), that the bake fluid is just above the min mark. Thought it was just a case of topping up with Dot 4, but in Ford manual it says in Block Capitals DO NOT TOP UP. Only if below Minimum ?? What should I do, why does it say this ?? Thanks
