skoda fabia condensation
Recently bought a second hand Skoda Fabia in vgc. Had a full independent inspection first which found no faults. However have a small problem with condensation and it seems this is a known issue. Can be caused by faulty door seals (think not in my case, the inspection reported all the door seals intact and the carpets are dry. ) Other possible cause is faulty internal plastic door membrane. Is this complicated to fix, does it need a specialist garage?. Dealer willing to work with me on fixing it but he is not a skoda specialist so we want need to get an idea of difficulty/costs. Any advice welcome.

check for any signs of dampness in the fromnt passenger footwell also under neath the glovebox in same footwell. if there is then your drainage channel is blocked at bottom of front windscreen relativly easy fix. also a sign of this is it allways happenig worse after heavy rain.0

As posted by abacab, very easy fix, did mine myself over a year ago (when bought from a dealer with full 50point check yadda yadda but
Left this problem) cost a £3 for new door clips a a couple of quid for gutter sealant. Not leaked since, I did all four doors to be sure.0
