Sold my car - now buyer wants refund
Hi, I sold my car privately through internet advertising not auction sites about day and a half, and the new owner was aware that the boot would not open and I had said that it would most likely need the motor or the switch replacing. LPG conversion instead of driving a TDI?
My fiancee drives her 130 tdi Mk4 Golf on a daily round trip of £30 miles (work and back), and is getting 50 mpg on the journey. However, the Golf is starting to get a bit long in the tooth, and we've started looking at the newer shape Leon TDI's. However, engine issues seem to be a problem with them, and they still fetch…

Battery warranty - previous owner
Got the receipt for battery with 2 year warranty and this morning AA have confirmed battery is dead (its 13 months old). Only had the car for a month. I'm sure I've read somewhere that warranty for car parts is not transferable to new owner? Is this true? To be honest, I think its a cheap battery with a 2 yr warranty only…

I have a 1.2 2004 VW Polo which I recently had serviced. The mechanic mentioned that he noticed the fuel pump was extremely noisy and caused excessive vibration of the fuel tank.
