How do I replace a corsa wing mirror (only glass)
My wing mirror has been smashed and ive bought a replacement glass mirror for it, just wondering how I replace the glass before I start getting a screw driver and forcing the other one out and making more damage.
Any help please, Corsa 2002

Doesn't it just stick on to the old glass? The one I bought for my car just went over the top of the broken one.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Just did mine on my Renault Scenic, and all I did was prise out the old one with a screwdriver, (It was shattered anyhow.) and the replacement just pushes on to the lugs that are contained within the casing.
Took all of 20 seconds.
Simples. That's my mutt in the picture above.0 -

Silky I work for Vauxhall and have changed loads of them, if you bought it from us we fit f.o.c. Is it a genuine glass or a stick on? if its a genuine get a blade type screwdriver behind it and yank the old one off, if its electric connect the 2 terminals and then push the glass onto the motor, if its manual they are a bit harder to get on, don't be afraid of breaking it,it will go with a clunk when it clips into place.0

Its just a bog standard stick on one, I bought on ebay. Is it worth just sticking it over the cracked one? I don't like to bodge something up but if just sticking it over the damanged one is suitable then ill have to do that. Its not an electric mirror btwAll the big powers they've silenced me.
