Pre 60 number plate transfers.
Good news for classic car enthusiasts, If there is a cherished plate on a pre 60 vehicle, it will become non transferrable from November. Only retention, transfer of numbers "of a type that needs an MOT, or heavy goods vehicle (HGV) test certificate" is permitted under the current legislation, So, from November, pre 60…

Mondeo 07/08 Steering Rack faults - Watchdog??
Recently bought a 2008 Mondeo (privately) - had a good test drive and could not find fault with it - I am fairly competent with car mechanics etc. The one thing I didn't do (which I usually always check) was the car reviews on Honest John. Well, after about a month, I noticed an odd whining noise when the steering was at…

Any suggestions on my next car?
This may not be the best place to post something like this but people on here are usually helpful whatever the question so figure I've got nothing to lose :) I also can't seem to find a forum dedicated to these types of questions (couldn't see anywhere on Whatcar or parkers that I could ask). Help needed!!
Hi all, I'm in need of some advice regarding the early termination of my Just Add Fuel agreement with Peugeot. Used Car Issues

I wasn't too fussed about this, as I understood that I was covered by the sales of goods act. This car was just shy of £5000. I have been to another dealership today…

Ok, you might have to bear with me on this one !!! Back at the start of the Year, my Picasso was making some funny noises so I booked it into a garage round the corner from work to take a look. Does anyone have a bike "cave" or tent?
I have a "proper" bike and a fold up bike and need somewhere to store them. Due to the layout of the house, it's not really practical to keep them in the back garden (we have no outdoor access from the front of the house to the back), so I am looking at getting a bike cave…
