Broken down car soon after purchase
Hi everyone, Three weeks ago, I bought a secondhand car from a dealer. It came with an RAC Platinum warranty, which covered up to £300.00 a claim. It was MOT'd and oil serviced by the dealer and he assured me they'd check it over before I picked it up. Sunday evening, as I was trying to pull off a drive, the cam belt…

Vehicle or not?
I found this mildly amusing I was browsing the copart website and came across this old Chevy truck. I am just surprised they are claiming it is a Cat B. Surely as there is no chassis (and probably no VIN number) it is just a selection of body panels.

You can have your DPF removed. There are companies who can programme your ECU and offer and perform A REMAP . Regarding the MOT ! I believe they can refit the pipe and the DPF and afterwards remove it again . Regarding the performance / and the economy of the car Without the DPF I don't know . Hopefully someone here can…

Will I get a ticket?
Before anyone has a go yes I was in the wrong. I was speeding through the tunnels in Brum and a car was following me. Turned out it was a police car. Was not a traffic or patrol car. Just a silver Peugeot with a lone officer. I slowed down to turn off and the car then pulled next to me sounded the horn and made a slow down…

Is there a Portable Charger for a Tom Tom?
I've recently bought at Tom Tom via 120 live. It last for 2 hours before the battery runs flat. Unfortunately I cannot charge up in my car as I go along as the power source in the car doesn't work and I don't want to waste any time messing with it. I am about to go on a long journey and wonder is there any portable device…

Autoglass
On their website they ask if the chip is smaller/bigger than a £2 coin or if it's a crack. Well ours has a crack but it's smaller than a £2 coin so hubby believes we should treat it like a chip but I disagree. Can anyone shed any light without actually seeing it?
