M.O.T Question

My M.O.T is due on April 12th. I have been told you can have it done up to one month beforehand.
If I book mine in for next week and it passes, would the new certificate start from that date or from April 12th please. I don't want to lose almost a month but I am anxious to get it done because I need to know if it needs any repairs before I use my savings to pay for the rest of my Sun holiday.

Your new one will expire April 11 2013, so will be valid for just over a year.

But don't forget to take the current MOT certificate in with you, I don't think they give you the extra time without it.

ok, it must have changed with the new certificate. cheers for that, we take ours in saturday so that's handy to know :beer:
