Using Foreign License?
Got a question. My brother has been here for 2 months now, and owns a Cypriot drivers license. Is it possible to add him to my U.K policy? Or does he have to come here with his own car? Thanks!

Reversing Lens - any good?
Has anyone bought/had any experience of the Easifit Reversing Lens? My SIL has a Suzuki Grand Vitara and finds it difficult to gauge how far out the spare wheel is when reverse parking. She thought the stick on lens would be less obtrusive than a mirror but would like to know if they are any good before buying one. Thanks…

M6 Toll Road
Not MSE but TOTALLY worth taking it :D Went up to the Lakes for the weekend. Travelling up on Wednesday night, we got to Birmingham about 9:30pm. We always take the M6 toll road but the M6 traffic was light so we figured we'd just go on the non-toll road. OMG! How awful is the M6 through Birmingham?! Firstly - road…

380 quid to replace clutch on Honda Jazz?
The bearings are starting to go on our Honda Jazz 2006. We have been quoted 380 by Mr Clutch to replace it. This includes 250 pounds for labour, but the guy who gave us the quote from his computer, said that it seemed very excessive. If we source one ourselves and get it fitted independently, what is a reasonable price to…

If I where to import a car built between 2001-2009, how will they assign me a new number plate if the whole point of this was to have the…

Opinions on Nearly new Fiesta price
I'm after a nearly new Ford Fiesta Zetec for my wife. I've seen one at Polar Ford at £8695. It's got 11,000 miles petrol on the clock and is on a 59 plate and in excellent condition. The old car is a banger so they've offered £600 PX. I'm putting down £1400 deposit also. I'm going for the Options deal where I pay £156 per…

Increased fuel consumption during "running-in"
I recently bought a new 1250cc Ford Fiesta (82PS version). According to my fuel consumption spreadsheet :o , so far I've averaged 47mpg, after 3 fill-ups and 700 miles. I'm hoping to achieve an average nearer the car's extra-urban figure of 62mpg, because in my previous car my actual average fuel consumption was about the…
