Just discovered...
We've just discovered that we have been sold a car that was registered as a right off. We bought it last May second hand from a dealership in Bournemouth, we were told at the time that it had been in a minor accident. It's just gone for its MOT and the mechanic has told us that this car should never have been sold to us,…

Economical driving success!
Hi Given the fuel prices at the moment I've been trying to drive as economically as I possibly can. I have a 38 mile commute (each way) on a mix of different road types. The last two tanks in my car I've managed to get 50-51 mpg. I don't think it's supposed to be able to do that many mpg... My car is not a fancy new…

Skid Pan / Defensive Driving Courses.
My wife recently passed her test, and has been driving well, however she is still quite inexperienced. She's been taking a while to get used to our car (Zafira) coming from her instructors car (Fiesta/Focus). That said, she passed her full bike license about 13 years ago, so isn't a total newbie to the road. As her…

hi guys, I'm hoping you can help with this, as me and the OH aren't particularly mechanically-minded! OH's car is a 51-plate fiat punto, we bought it last year for his job, and it's covered by a 12 month warranty. Just recently, an engine warning light came on - according to the manual it was something to do with the fuel…
