can I run iGo on SatNav device?
Hi, I have been running iGO 8 on an HTC TyTn II. The phone has become unreliable and keeps switching itself off. But I like the software and have France and Spain maps. Can I install the software on a SatNav device if I buy one? If so, any device or do I need a particular type? Thanks.

The real cost of owning a old Discovery or similar
I really want a discovery or something similar. We live rural and with the amount of pot holes we have, I might as well be off road. I have to go out of my way to avoid the country roads at the moment and so really have thought about getting a 4x4 - would be useful in bad weather too as I'll not be stuck in the village.…

Fuel consumption observations..
Just finished one of my periodic trips to Germany, 5year old Mondeo, 1.8. There and back about 1000 miles. Outward trip, using normal petrol, as recommended in handbook, pretty steady driving, worked out at about 39mpg overall, according to the fuel computer. Whilst there, noticed that German pumps were dispensing…

My renewal is due so I've being doing some quotes for the last few days and they were all coming back at around £1500. It didn't matter how hard I tried, I physically couldn't get it any lower. Help / Legal Advice / RE: Outstanding money to insurer
Up until June last year I was insured on my car with Kwik Fit. I moved down to my current address around May last year. I cancelled my insurance with Kwik Fit by returning my new insurance certificate, along with a covering letter explaining I no longer required this service. This year I receive a letter from Buchanan…

Does this sound right?
Hi All, my friend from work got rear ended in her car on monday and her car was written off. The young girl who went into her was obviously in the wrong and has admitted as much. My mate's insurance company has already offered her a fairly decent price for her car which she is going to accept. The other girl's insurance…

Four wheel drive and fuel efficiency.
Hiya, I'm looking for a car to do about 50 miles a day (mostly motorway), but suitable to travel through snow quite a bit in the winter. With the distance I'm keen to keep the fuel costs down, but the concern of safety in snow is also a consideration, so will most likely get winter tires and would like a 4 wheel drive…

Aargh car insurance
I just got my renewal quote through and it was (as always with renewals) ridiculous. So I went on all the price comparison sites etc... The cheapest quote I can get it just over £1k on a car which is 5 years old and worth < £2k. I have 5 years no claims so I can only assume this is because I'm 26. My insurance last year…
