never used it but none of those products work on blown head gaskets. The pressures found in the cylinders of an internal combustion engine are huge. these products are snake oil band aids. head gasket failures often require a new head, or the head skimming and perhaps the block honing too, then a new, perhaps oversized, gasket fitted. what car is it, because cost of £500+ for parts/labour might not be warranted.would be grateful if anyone out there has used a product called"steelseal" if so does it really work?0 -

My head cracked in my 214i rover.... Because i thought gasket seal would tide it over. Rovers are notorious for it, as are puntos but i would definately get it done now before it happens. If your gonna do it yourself, buy a cambelt kit and cam locking set as well.Fleet Air Arm - 800 NAS - *Nunquam Non Paratus*Showing the 'Crabs' how its done for over a hundred years!Tesco loan, £4,000 over 3 years - £138 p/m6 months 0% bicycle finance - £60 p/m0
