National Express - Where are the funfares?
Hi Can anyone help? I am looking to travel from Birmingham to London Victoria on 11th October. I have used the funfares in the past. These now only seem to go up until end of Sept. Does anyone know if they are stopping the funfares? If we have to pay full price does anyone have a discount code? Many thanks

Engine coolant
Hi, do you know of a good engine coolant in a relatively cheap price for my peugeot306? Also do I have to mix water with the coolant/antifreeze? I have heard that in cold countries like UK, water can freeze in cooling system. Thanks in advance.

Yesterday, the person who bought it came back to me and said that they have had problems with the car. They said that they had to relace the clutch cable a few weeks, and now the car has died completly and is in a garage.…

Delay repay train help!
Hiya! This might go on a bit so sorry! Firstly, don't think of me as someone who wants to get every penny I can off a company, I don't do this often (as you can tell by my querying how to work things out!). Ok, last week I was getting a train back from London to my home town. First train was cancelled, second train was…

Brake Discs
Hi all I hope someone can help with a query. Just had an advisory on the MOT that the car has only just met the front brake imbalance requirements, and may need adjustment or repair. I'm guessing this means the discs may need to be changed, so my question is this - how much can I expect to pay? The car is an 8-year-old…

Oyster card maximum fare ripoff
Anyone know if there is a way to reclaim maximum fare charges going back longer than 2 months? I have reclaimed this, but they say they cannot go back any…

Bad garage repairs
I can't find any information on this forum on what to do if you have had bad service from a garage. The story goes: I had my car MOT'd at one garage (opposite where I work) and they failed it saying it had a lot of rust and needed welding. I took it back into them to be welded and it passed and I thought it was all fine.…

Car insurance for loads of cars?
Well, 'loads' might be pushing it a tad, but I might end up with five cars before too long and I really want to keep insurance costs down to a minimum. At the moment I've got three all insured on seperate policies, but was wondering if there's a more cost effective way of doing it. I know of multi-car policies from the…

How I got upgraded to First Class on train
This will not apply to all journeys, but I just thought I would share with you how myself and some other passengers upgraded to First Class for free on a train recently. Does anyone know if it is worth it, or if there are plans to integrate it some other licence or compulsory identification cards in the near future. Don't want to pay twice!

Complex one - taking ownership of an abandoned car
Hi There, I was wondering if someone could offer some help with this - our neighbours from a few doors down have done a "moonlight flit" to Spain (actually in February) and their house has been repossessed. Their car is still on the drive and has recently been tagged with a sign which states that it will be towed away and…
