Hi,
do you know of a good engine coolant in a relatively cheap price for my peugeot306? Also do I have to mix water with the coolant/antifreeze? I have heard that in cold countries like UK, water can freeze in cooling system.
Thanks in advance.

With Peugeot you need to put the right stuff in it. The wrong stuff can froth up like washing up liquid and will need flushing out and replacing. Best bet is just go to a dealer and get the right stuff 1st time. It may be slightly more expensive than highstreet stuff, but guaranteed to be right
it will need mixing with water and about 2/3 water to 1/3 a-freeze will cope with even the harshest of English winters! :A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. GSF may have the correct stuff cheaper than dealers. Never use water alone. Check instructions as in some cases certain types of coolant should not be added to old versions of coolant. I would recommend splashing out 51p per litre bottle on deionised water to help reduce the build up of scale, rather than using tap water.0
