Nationwide Autocentre
My car is due for an MOT in March. I've got some TESCO vouchers and was thinking of using it at a Nationwide Autocentre. Has anyone used them before? What was your experience? The garage I normally use, I normally get a full service and MOT. It normally comes to about £150. With Nationwide, the price is £220 for the same,…

Nissan Primera - Windscreen Wiper Motor - HELP!!!
Hi folks, I'm currently having a nightmare... The other day I used the local mechanised car wash, and it ended up moving my windscreen wipers up. I thought that by switching them on it would return them to their rightful resting position. This appeared to be the case, however, when I tried to switch on the wipers later,…

Metallic Clunking Noise from Engine on Start-up
I notice that whenever I start my car (97 (P) Almera) in the morning or after a few hours idle the engine gives a clicky metal type sound, a bit like a diesel engine. Only thing is that it's a 1.4 Petrol so I'm a little worried about this! It stops clicking and clunking after about 1-2 seconds. The oil level looks fine and…

Cheaper Driving?
2 Points, firstly, does anyone know if there is a set time when the supermarkets do the 5p per litre off petrol if you spend over £50 or is there a way of finding out (other than phoning them)? I didn't, but am concerned about it. Did this happen to anyone else?? Was it a coincidence? Is there something going on here?

Brand New Rovers £3999
Unfortunatly it's the, not too popular, City Rover!! http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/index.htm?news_id=2845 Thought it'd be worth mentioning, in case someone was desperate for a 'new' car! Personally, I'd put my £$£$ into a used motor, rather than one of these!! VB
