Lycamobile / other pay as you go
Has anyone on Lycamobile (Plus) (or any other pay as you go) noticed that when you dial out, there is a delay of what seems 5-10 seconds before the phone actually dials out and it rings at the other end. This does not appear to be the case on contract. WHY?

I'm going to the World Cup in July. My brother lives in SA and says he can get me a local SIM on MTN eg as below http://www.mtn.co.za/FindaPlan/Pages/MTNOneRate.aspx They are the operator which many non affluent SA residents use, so they may be the cheapest. I can't find anything comparable on Vodacom's website. Does…
