selling a house
I wasn't sure where to put this - but as my concern is more about relationships than house sales, I've put it here! Last year an elderly relative died & left her house to my brother & me. It is an unusual house, in an area that has become rather run-down in the last 25 years. By co-incidence I was due to start a job nearby…

Surprise rent bill
My mother died in hospital towards the end of November last year, and at that time I informed Viewpoint Housing association of her death as this is who my mother was renting her flat. Husband coming for money
My husband walked out on me after 14 years of marriage in mid December last year. When we first got together I was about to separate from my first husband with whom I had two children. My first husband and I divorced fairly amicably and I the house was signed over into my name and I was granted a fair maintenance. I also…

Partner's stolen from children
I've been saving most of my child benefit for both my children since they were born; £50 a month each. The idea was that it would help with their university fees. Their father was a signatory on the accounts, like me. As he worked from home it seemed easier if he managed the accounts. Now my children are older, and do need…

Contraceptive Implant.....your views on it
I hate this damned thing, and FINALLY I've managed to get an appointment to have it removed. :j Just wondering other peoples take on the implant. Babies
Hi My wife and I are hoping to start a family once debt-free. I was just wondering (having no experience of babies!) how much I will realistically have to budget for this. Does anyone have a rough idea of how much we'd have to spend to get everything we'd need for the baby to start with, and then how much we'd have to…

baby drowsy after jabs
Is it normal for a 3 month old baby to be excessively drowsy 48 hours after his 12 week jabs? My grandson has missed a feed because he's still asleep, which is unheard of! His temperature's fine and he's breathing normally, but he's so sleepy he just couldn't be woken for the feed.
