Hi, I currently have a 20k loan with Halifax over 6 yrs at 13.9%. Obviously this is not the greatest rate but was all I could get at the time. As my credit limit gets better (hopefully) will I be able to go to my bank and ask them to reduce the rate? Alternatively I could look elsewhere and get a better deal? Any advice…

Northern Rock taking 1 week to approve loan.......
Not heard a reply from them yet after a week. Think my credit should be OK now (had problems a few years ago). Do you think that means I'm pretty much screwed? Also, I've noticed that since I applied the typical APR has went from 7.9% to 8.9%...do you think I'll still get 7.9% because I applied before it changed?

Help - with PPI
I am totally new to this site, but have been trying to claim back insurance cover on a loan following Martin's advice - however they are quoting 'rule of 78' and have refused to refund me.
