Payday loan trouble

Hi everyone, i'm really here for any advice people can give me, I recently took out a payday loan which is due for repayment at the end of this month. Unfortunately i am now facing the possibility of bot having the funds to pay it back. So far the company is being not to helpful as i can't remember my mobile number for security purposes as i have now diconnected this to due to my finance circumstances. I'm really tempted to just not pay them, but i'm worried about the implication. Any help would be appriciated.

Not paying them will pi$$ them off and make the situation worse in the long run. These are people who prey on the vulnerable and charge outrageous (though legal) rates of interest. Couldn't you borrow the money off a friend or relative so as to get these people off your back?
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Hi, my advice is to pay them and see if you can borrow the money off family and friends. I was in the same situation last year and if you dont pay they act very quickly and it just gets more and more expensive.
  • unfortunately not, i'm in a bit of messy situation were i've pretty much been shut out by my family due to my relationship with my soon to be fiance. Things really are bad.

eep! at the payday loans people!! poor you!! However you MUST pay them, just to get them off your back as things will pretty soon come back to haunt you if they don't. Is there ANYWHERE you can get the money from? ebay? amazon? pawning something? (i'll say it v v quietly cattles? credit union? worst worst worst case scenario, provi?)
Also when you get a chance hop on over to the DFW board, I see you've posted this there also, tell us your story and have loads and loads of helpful advice in return. It's horrible feeling so out of control, lets work at getting you back in control again. xx

If you can't remember your mobile, why not ask some of your friends for the number - chances are they have you stored on their own mobiles?

You must pay them if you are supposed to - ignoring them will incur high charges and penalties as they already charge astronomical interest rates.

I would start looking around for stuff to ebay - CD's, console games etc

  • Was it through Paydayloans.co.uk? (part of MEM Finance)?

I lost my job due and couldn't afford to repay them. I emailed their customer support team and explained the reasons to them and offered to pay back £30/mth. They agreed and I have nearly paid them off.

    Worth trying that route........
