PPI Problem

Firstly apologies if this has been asked before but I'm new and have a dilemma I hope somebody here can help me with.

I have a loan with PPI and I left my job and moved to another area as a relative said I could get a job were he is. Well, it all went belly-up and I couldn't get a start.

Fortunately, I managed to get a temporary job which was going to end at the end of September but has been extended another month. There is a good possibility that I'll be taken on permanently but after what has just happened, I can't rely on it. I contacted the Bank and they informed me that I wouldn't be entitled to PPI, 'I made my own bed' sort of thing. Fair enough but what is the worst case scenario regarding the loan if I end up unemployed ?
