Voluntary group critical illness rates
Anyone know if these have gone up in the last year? Redoing my flex benefits at work and my monthly cost has more than doubled for the same cover, from £31pm to £78pm. Cover is £140k, F51nb. Is this reasonable or should I be questioning if the rates have been loaded correctly?

How do you choose car insurance ?
Hi It's that time of year again where I need to sort out car insurance. Out of curiosity how do you choose ? Is your decision based purely on price or do you take any other factors into consideration ? I look at price but also the Defaqto rating. Yes I want a cheap price but I'm willing to pay a bit more for a better…

Whole of life insurance reduction
Hello, We had a letter from Prudential today informing us of a fairly significant reduction on our whole of life insurance product we have been paying into from 15 years. We will of course dig out the paperwork to see what the t's&c's say but we certainly don't remember being informed of these "review dates". Anyone else…

Do you have critical illness cover
Hi all, I've recently just got my first mortgage and i'm being asked about what kind of protection i require. I feel i don't really need life insurance as my pension would cover the mortgage if i die. The pension also pays out for in capacitance or permanent ill health. However, i don't think i have any fallback if i'm…

How can I be at fault if I was stationary?
I am currently dealing with an insurance claim which I anticipated would be pretty straight forward. (How wrong was I).
