Hi
It's that time of year again where I need to sort out car insurance.
Out of curiosity how do you choose ?
Is your decision based purely on price or do you take any other factors into consideration ?
I look at price but also the Defaqto rating. Yes I want a cheap price but I'm willing to pay a bit more for a better quality policy ? Am I wasting my money, should I just go for the cheapest ?

Me too sotty&sweep! What a nightmare it is. Decisions decisions. I'm with the previous poster. Apart from cost I like to look at reviews and ratings. If I have never heard of them before that tends to be a no no too. And always read the small print0

I have had some cheap quotes but chose not to use them. One was a black box policy when they first appeared. Even in the early stages there were enough comments from customers with issues.
Then another year insurers registered in Gilbraltor etc. Imagine the fun of that if they refuse to payout.
