Reason I ask is that I am looking at changing my insurance & need to know if I declare 9 years NCD or 9 + 1 = 10 years. Sorry if I am being a bit thick…

Length of licence held question
My question quite simply is with most insurer's when they ask the unction they mean how long have you held your current licence type meaning your provisonal length is not included. Aviva however do include the length of time of your provisional. Is there any other insurance companies people can name like Aviva who will…

If it were an item that you only used away from home, but lost it, surely unless it is stolen the insurer could use the carelessness clause for anything - In which case…

First time to possibly have a car insurance claim
Had a wee incident last night, bottom line is I have to get two doors sprayed on someone else's car. I have 10+ year protected ncb, yearly premium is about £200. Damage is about £200-300, a third party claim on my insurance wouldn't incur an excess. Trying to decide whether to tell her to put it through the insurance or…

Road Tax???
On purchasing a second hand car recently with the new rules I can not believe the con being pulled in front of the already taxed to ceiling motorist. It seems that each time a vehicle changes owners with these new rules the new owner must purchase tax from the day of the month so as before you loose the amount of days into…

Is it usual to ask to see a will?
Hi folks, Having recently had a bereavement and never having had to sort out someone's affairs before I have made some tentative enquiries with the life insurance provider. Hi, I've recently moved into a 2 bed leasehold flat. My flat and the flat upstairs have just been sent a bill for building insurance for £1800 for 1 year.
