ecar insurance/worldpay - trouble cancelling policy?
Hi guys, Well last year I took out a PAYG policy with ecarinsurance.co.uk to insure my vehicle. I recently took my car in for an MOT and to be honest, rather than spending dead money on fixing the problems I have decided to buy a new car. Therefore, I am looking to cancel my currenty policy with ecar, which I can do 5days…

Contents insurance - deduction for wear and tear
I just moved my contents insurance to the AA, and although its a new-for-old policy on most items, it says a deduction for wear and tear will be made on clothes and linen. What is this likely to mean in practice? It doesn't sound the same as second hand value (which would be close to nil).

Insurance from Sentinal via bank
I took out insurance, through the bank, with Sentinal. I must add that I have not had any problems with the company, they have always been efficient when I have had dealings with them. Age UK Home and Contents Insurance
We recently had our Insurance renewal through from Barclays and it has increased by over £100 despite our having made no claims. We're both over 50 so I looked at AgeUK Home and Contents Insurance and they quote a third the price of the Barclays premium. Has anybody had any experience of the AgeUK insurance and, if so,…
