ecar insurance/worldpay - trouble cancelling policy?

Hi guys,
Well last year I took out a PAYG policy with ecarinsurance.co.uk to insure my vehicle. I recently took my car in for an MOT and to be honest, rather than spending dead money on fixing the problems I have decided to buy a new car. Therefore, I am looking to cancel my currenty policy with ecar, which I can do 5days before payment is due (this is what it states on their site), and must be done via worldpay.com. However, I am having trouble retrieving my login details for worldpay, and have tried contacting them with no success, I have also tried contacting ecar, but again with no success. The next payment is due on the 03/07/13 and I don't know what to do. Should I contact my credit card company and explain my problem and see if I can cut them off that way? Also, I do have a confirmation e-mail showing that I have tried cancelling my policy before now and that I am having issues contacting either company, should I send this as proof in case payments continue?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

I had a look at eCar's website and the procedure seems to be (for monthly PAYG) that if you give them more than 5 days notice, THEY will cancel the Worldpay FuturePay agreement for you. It's only once you get within the 5 days that you have to arrange it with Worldpay yourself.
Are you able to login to your eCar policy and stop the next monthly renewal from there? That seems to be the way to go.0 -
Have you has any incidents or claims on the policy?
Why not transfer the policy to the new car your buying?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
