Esure reduced my contents cover on renewal
I insured for £30000 contents last year- esure's renewal quote has reduced this to £16670. So I don't qualify for any of the like for like renewal quote offers with new companies. Explains though why all the comparisons were coming out as more than esures renewal quote. This happen to any other esure customers?

Can't get my excess back
I was involved in a road accident last December. Although I colided with a stationery vehicle (stopped on my side of an A road at night) the Insurace company decided that it was my fault. Since my car was a write-off, I was paid the value minus £200, the excess on my policy. Since then, the Public Prosecutor wrote to me,…

Life Insurance / Assurance - here and aboard?
hi, we're a couple with three young children - and really need to sort out both of us for life insurance. We plan to take out separate single-life policies, not a joint policy. Sorry if this sounds silly but I'm not sure what to do. Last October we got burgled and had a number of things stolen from the house including every set of keys we have and one of the cars stolen. It worked out that we were seriously put out of pocket as we had to pay every insurance excess going £150 for buildings (damage…

Car Insurance claiming question
If you have an accident and there is doubt over which driver was at fault what happens? I know usually the insurance companies dont bother getting involved in any arguments but what happens? Do you both end up claiming on your own insurance (and paying the excess) ? Or claiming off each others (with no excess to pay)?
