House Insurance just for a month
Need to insure my house for a month (selling it soon). If I stay with who I'm with they want another £190 for a year and then they said that I could cancel whenever I want but I would have a 25% charge for doing this i.e. lose 25% of £190! Anyone know of anyone doing monthly house insurance?

In car video cameras for insurance?
On these "Police Chases" type programs, I have seen clips of people whos insurance company have put video cameras in their cars to reduce their insurance premiums and help settle insurance claims quicker but all of the ones I have seen are American, does anyone know of any English insurers which do this?

I did all the usual bits to get cheap house insurance and ended up with the same company as last year. Last year however the underwriter was Legal and General but this year it is a company I have never heard of JR Clare. As it is the underwriter you deal with if you have a claim is this OK.
