Just a quickie and just thinking out loud really, but if I have legal cover included in my Buildings and contants insurance policy can I use that facility for advice on 'other' legal matters not relating to my policy..?

Yes you can, but there are certain excusions.
You would need to read the polic to find out but one of the majors ones is if you are driving a motor vehicle (I believe you would be covered for a road accident as a pedestrian, cyclist or horse rider but again you would need to check your policy).
Another thing you can't use it for is to sue your home insurance company !!
But you can use it for consumer disputes, employment disputes etc. and does not necessarily have to be connected with a claim on the insurance.
Hope that helps.0 -
Yes I know someone who used the expenses for their road traffic accident
someone who claimed back dury service
and someone who had dispute with employer0
