Contents Insurance For Lodger

I'm a lodger in a shared house (landlord, myself and one other lodger). And i'm trying to get Contents Insurance to cover the contents of my room (clothes, laptop etc) and to cover out-of-house stuff i.e. Handbag cover.
However when i call round for quotes most companies don't want to know.
Does anyone know any providers who covers lodgers/houseshares/rented room.

Endsleigh cover students and tenants in rented accomodation so they might cover lodgers.
