House Insurance just for a month

Need to insure my house for a month (selling it soon). If I stay with who I'm with they want another £190 for a year and then they said that I could cancel whenever I want but I would have a 25% charge for doing this i.e. lose 25% of £190! Anyone know of anyone doing monthly house insurance?

I don't know of anyone offering insurance just for a month, but as you're renewing an existing policy they should offer you a pro-rata refund. Might be worth re-checking or looking in your policy book."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
