Much as JL do with kitchens by Mereway etc, they've got a brand of Cleeve Hill engineered oak wood floors in 15mm and 20mm. Does anyone know who actually makes these floors as we have seen an antique brushed and oiled oak that we really like, but can't afford JL's mark up and fitting costs. thanks for any info

Short Oven?
I'm trying to find a single oven, 13A, which is on the short side. That is sticks into the cupboard by 52cm or less. Could perhaps stretch to 53cm if I add a frame. Standard single ovens all seem to be about 54cm according to the data sheets. B&Q has some that their booklet that says are only 50cm deep but not sure I…

Cleaner stealing
My husband and I recently got married. We were given around £1,000 in cash as gifts. I put the money in an envelope in my draw shortly after the wedding. I am a landlord of a semi detatched property. We have followed this up with the current tenants and there is no problem at…

Cold shower water
The last few days we've noticed the shower going from hot to cold. We know this sometimes happens if the kitchen sink has been running, but it hasn't. Today my gf noticed it going from cool to freezing. It's a modern, rented apartment. It's a power shower operated on a combi boiler Apart from that were not DIY knowledgable…

Under the counter fridge/freezer?
This is directed, mainly, at people who (like me) live alone. I have a very small kitchen, and currently have an under the counter fridge. I was intending to buy a small chest freezer, which I planned to put where the cooker normally goes (I have a two ring and small oven, counter top cooker), but that's where my bin and…
