Gable wall between 2 semis
There's no adjoining wall in the loft between my house & next door (semis). If I have this built in blockwork (cellcon blocks), would these need to be tied in somewhere please? Sounds daft, but I can't see a freestanding wall being ok...?

Searching for particular wood moulding
Hi. I looking for some moulding and I don't think I know the correct name for it, so when searching online I can't find it. When I do find some, the size is a lot smaller than I need. I've been sanding down the skirting board, around the windows and doors. If you look at pic01 I decided to take off the moulding and plan to…

Negative product review not published
I purchased a shower screen from a well known online-only bathroom retailer but the glass fell out of the frame after 4 months use, seriously damaging my bath. Installing a new piece of glass
Hi, I have a job I want to do tomorrow, but it is slightly beyond my very beginner DIY Skills! is it possible to re-site manhole covers?
We would like to extend a house that we're in the process of buying. However, there is a manhole cover over where an extension would be. Really naive question, but I'm assuming that it's possible to re-site these things?
