How to change knobs VAILLANT ECOTEC PLUS 824

hi, my boiler - vaillant ecotec plus 824 18 month old - has got both knobs broken (water and heating). any idea on how to change it without calling an engineer and spend lot of money? :beer:

From the drawing it looks as if the knobs just pull off.

happened to mine but it was under warranty so they came out and did it. I couldnt for the lif eof me get mine back on when it came off so assume something broke. Imagine if you were sent a new one it would be easy to fit. They have a cir clip? on the back that i think needs fitting also. Other than this you can only call the £1.50 a minute helpline!!!!!!!!! Ballache
