We have decided we're going to turn our dining room into a playroom for our two boys. DS1 in almost 2, but DS2 is only 8 weeks at the moment. We're looking for ideas on decorating it so it will appeal to the both but we won't have to redo it too soon in the future. Also, I'm looking for tips on storage and layout.…

Oven overheating
We have a built-in electric oven and occasionally it overheats (to the point where the whole thing cuts off!). It appears that the thermostat doesn't "click" off once it gets to the temperature we want. Two questions: 1. Does this sound like it's a duff thermostat? I've found one on espares which suits our oven 2. Is it…

The cut out button has 'popped' twice now in three days - once on the normal immersion and once on the boost. For the last 3 years it has only cut out once. Getting Brilliant White onto Plaster or Artex
I think this may be an issue relevant to anyone painting light colours over new artex or plaster::: I painted my newly artexed ceiling using B&Q Colours Pure Brilliant White Matt Emulsion.
