Which glue to fix a backed nylon slide?
Hope someone can help....I have a large inflatable water slide, an Ultimate Splash Attack. It is in it's 3rd year and gets heavily used by the kids so I want to be able to repair it soon! Hot water pressure
I got a new kitchen tap the other day and fitted it but the hot water isn't coming out too fast and I was wondering if I've done something wrong or if I can somehow turn up the pressure. We have a cold water tank in the loft, a boiler on the ground floor and a hot tank on the first floor. The taps upstairs fire out the hot…

Waterproofing Chipboard
Hi, we have recently had a loft conversion done (quite a nice job actually). The shower room has a chipboard floor (as does everywhere else) and I'm going to put down some of those self adhesive vinyl tiles that you get in packs from Focus. I have used them before and they aren't too bad, their main advantage is that they…

Knocking through lounge/diner
We are going to knock through the lounge/diner wall as the lounge is far too small and we can't fit much in there. Do you think that it would be better to have it totally open or to put an archway in? My OH reckons it will look like a big corridor totally open and an arch means you can put doors in if you want. What do you…

Cost of skylight
Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it costs to fit a skylight? We're thinking of something maybe 4' by 3' in our roof. Also, we're not sure which direction it would be best to face it. Southfacing would be best for light, but maybe the roof area will get too hot?
