Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it costs to fit a skylight?
We're thinking of something maybe 4' by 3' in our roof.
Also, we're not sure which direction it would be best to face it. Southfacing would be best for light, but maybe the roof area will get too hot?

You don't say if its a flat roof or pitched? But if pitched,I'd guesstimate the window and flashing kit at £300+vat then labour approx £200 to 250+vat may need to allow extra for access tower, extra for any plasterboarding and plastering if required.0
