How do I make uPVC white again?
Like it says in the title! We have bought a new house (new to us and to the people who built it 120 years ago!). It has (since then!) had white uPVC windows put in. They've not been in long but are looking a bit dirty. How do I make them shine again? I'm talking the uPVC here, not the glass!!! :) Thank you! jmarko

Gas Water heater in rented accom - no thermostat
I just wondered if anyone had any experience of a heater like this. I have moved into rented accomodation, the landlord did tell me that the boiler would make a noise if it was left on too long, but I wasn't aware of how much of a problem this would be. The first time I turned the water heater on I went out for a few hours…

Boiler noise problem...any ideas?
Got a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 35i Combi Condensing Boiler, nearly 2 years old. It's started making a loud noise when you turn on the hot tap. How can I evict some squirrels?
We had the furry blighters in our loft and then we had the loft extended. My thoughts were that this would mean that the squirrels would move on, however they are back! Driving me crazy
This has absolutely nothing to do with moneysaving aside from the fact that somebody may just save my OH from forking out for funeral expenses for me. I have a lovely garden, full of flowers, squirrels, hedgehogs, birds and PIDGEONS & DOVES. Now I'm not cruel, really I'm not, but the incessant noise from these monsters is…
