Driving me crazy

This has absolutely nothing to do with moneysaving aside from the fact that somebody may just save my OH from forking out for funeral expenses for me. I have a lovely garden, full of flowers, squirrels, hedgehogs, birds and PIDGEONS & DOVES. Now I'm not cruel, really I'm not, but the incessant noise from these monsters is driving me round the bend. There is one particular dove that sits on my roof , going "whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo" ALL B**** DAY. Does anyone have any bright ideas of how to discourage them from sitting on my roof, or in my trees. We have already decided to prune the trees, I think there are a couple of nests in there, although I dont think they are nesting at the moment, but dont want them to think of it as Home Sweet Home, but any further advice will be very welcome .

Come and live in my house where our enjoyment of our garden has been ruined by the lad two days away playing thumping music from his garage.

You'll soon long for the whoo whoo of nature then.

In this trusted place U can erase
Every tear that ever rolled down your weary face
All the time U waste in that paper chase

Thanks a bunch you lot, must say what a great help you've been ( NOT) Can just imagine me propped up on the conservatory roof, taking aim at the blighters as they land above my head. & guess what, they even leave a calling card there. The conservatory is below the edge of the roof where they sit. Looks like cow pats landing there. IS there anybody out there with a serious solution, or am I just wishing?
