HOLIDAY AUTOS - avoid!
Just to warn anyone thinking of booking car hire... I prepaid in full for a car rental with Alamo via Holiday Autos in July in Tampa. After returning home, I discovered additional charges had been taken from my works credit card with no explanation. Despite repeated pleas for an answer as to what the charges even were,…

Extra driver charge without my knowledge
Hi This is probably my mistake but I just want to check as I feel a bit peeved. At Nice airport I picked up my hire car, pre-booked with a voucher. I was asked if I'd like to add my wife. I asked if I needed to pay, and they said no, so I thought I may as well, even tho she had no intention of driving. AT drop off I was…

Money in their Pocket?
Hired a car in Portugal last week with a full tank and told to return it full; no problem with that. However, the petrol station at the airport had big problems and I could not get any petrol so I was asked to pay the money for the missing fuel and after a bit of haggling, agreed a price. Then I got to thinking that the…

Hey there A group of us are going to belgium in Jan 2015 and need to hire a car for 4 days. We are all in our mid 30s. So far my research leads me to believe Sixt are most competitive.
