I am planning to ride the Austrian Alps (mountain roads) sometime in July and wanted to hire a motorbike in Austria. I will mostly be in Austria but a little in Germany. I wanted to get some travel insurance and wondered whether foreign vehicule hire (motorbike in this case) was included in the T&Cs of travel policies or…

The Currency Club
Has anyone used this organisation for holiday currency? It's not mentioned on TravelMoneyMax, but seems to have comparable rates to most of the London Exchanges (slightly less than the Clarity card, but i don't want to use that) and seems to have good ratings on Trust Pilot

France August Car Hire - how early to book?
Hi all, Prices seem to be well up this year from Nimes, so wondering how to get a bargain. MSE advice is to book as early as possible, but last year I booked at the end of July for mid-August and got a real bargain. Maybe I should get a cancellable one today in case the price rises in June and then keep an eye out? What…

Slightly flawed advice
When looking at travel money the top pick is always a credit card (eg Clarity) as it "consistently gives the best rate". There is a potential flaw in this. Comparisons are always at today's rates. Suppose there is a high rate at the moment but you are not travelling in the next few days. You buy currency (cash or currency…

Ryanair check in
We are due to fly with Ryanair in 32 days. It says that we can check in 30 days before flight. Does this include the return flight 10 days later? Or do we have to do that in 12 days. We want to book priority seats to sit next to each other so want to check in asap.

Sweden Skavsta Airport Car Hire Hertz excess help
Hi, I have recently been holiday to Sweden, Stockholm, for only 4 days, and hired a car at Stockholm Skavsta airport via Hertz. It included CDW and all the cover possible, except extra super cover. Car hire for road trip from NYC
Hi everyone, I'm at the early stages of planning next year's road trip. We arrive and depart from JFK in New York. The first 4 nights will be in NY so no need for a car. I've heard that it can be a lot cheaper to hire the car from outside of NY. We plan to head North out to the Hamptons, over to Cape Cod, then out from…

Travelex Card Loading
Haven't used my card for a couple of years. Does it cost the same to load it up with, say, a 1000 Euros regardless of where you do the loading eg at Tescos, Travelex, Cooks etc etc? Edit: Also, are there any charges I should be aware of?

Ryanair finds NEW ways to take your CASH!
You will now face a penalty if you try to do your online checkin too soon!! They've invented something called advanced checkin which means you will be forced to pay for allocated seating which costs £5-10 each way if you checkin between 30 - 8 days before your flight. Hi, We're planning to go to Canada next summer, probably June, to visit relatives who live near Vancouver. I've no idea when to start looking at booking flights (this year or early next year?) or which airlines might be best, although I've done a bit of research on average prices. Has anyone got any suggestions? I'd be…
