Off to world cup in Brazil soon:)))))


Handy tip if you want good rate on Brazil money.. my mates company employees use these guys for currency and we were told about special user details for England supporters to get onto their website,

    3.757 on a Halifax Clarity Card.

    Many other places offering a better rate than you got.

    Don't think I would get a credit card!!!! and don't want to use those dodgy bank transfer sites after the crown affair.


    Looked again today and they are doing 3.5391 seems better than most of the other sites where you can pay by debit card?


    Also ordered a Rio travel guide at same time.. seemed good deal to me.

    So you would prefer to walk around with all of your holiday money in cash??

    I did not find it a dangerous place at all, but I heard many stories. One from someone who said that he just arrived from the airport by Taxi. As he opened the Taxi door to get out, someone snatched his sunglasses off his head and ran away.

    Kalixa Pay gives you the full Mastercard rate on purchases(3.725 currently) and if you dragged the max(equivalent of £300) out of an ATM you'd get a current rate of 3.695 to the £.

    I'd love to go to Brazil but the costs and logistics are too too much. What with the next two tournaments being in Russia and Qatar it looks like a long wait before another easy World Cup.
