United Utilities - Sewage in a stream
Hi, I have had contact from United Utilities who say that one of my pipes has been incorrectly plumbed and has been draining into a local stream. My property is old and has had an extension attached 36 years ago. United Utilities state that it was at this point that the drains have been connected to the wrong sewage…

Greenstar Energy beware
Hi, I changed providers a few months ago and I have now discovered that, although I pay monthly, my bills are every 3 months. It seems useless that I cannot track my energy usage every month. I complained and they said it was in their term and conditions and if I wanted to leave it would cost me £30 per fuel. Seems madness…

change power provider but got solar panels
My power supplier is Eon for both gas and electricity and about 4 years ago had solar panels installed through Eon (but not by them). I am extremely pleased with my fit payments etc, but if I change supplier who will make my fit payments, will it still be Eon or my new provider?. Thanks for any help and advise

SSE beating Martin today.
Daily Mail collective switch with SSE is 12% cheaper for me than Martin's collective. I am 65% gas 35% electricity. Which is roughly where Britain is. I hope the 97,000 switchers have done their homework and haven't been sold a pup. Sadly...

Is the collective cheapest?
The Money Tips email states: "MSE Special: MSE BG fix: £744/yr + £30 cashback, £60 exit fee Next cheapest open market 12mth fix: Gnergy: £764/yr - no cashback, £25/fuel exit fee" But when I do a comparison there are two fixes that are cheaper and longer than British Gas, and they are not mentioned anywhere in the email.

advise needed, when is it safe to switch my electricity and gas company?
I am currently with First Utility and have a fixed rate until 31st march 2016. I have just gone onto the cheap energy club (Moneysavingexpert) and I have discovered I can save a £186.00 per year (£16.00 a month) switching to flow energy. 73% say its a great company. Should I switch now? wait it out for any other companies…

extraenergy. bunch of con artists and cowboys. DO NOT USE
At the end of my fixed rate deal I switched away from Extra energy to SSE. This was based purely on price, no issues with customer service (at the time). This was back at the begining of Dec 2015. Extra Energy now owe me over £300 to settle my account but refuse to respond to online communications and reply to emails with…

Debt added to gas meter when there is no debt?
Hi. I expect some of the detail is more than needed, but it shows how I got to where I am..... I wasith Utility Warehouse. E.On MSE Switch Sept 15 vs Feb 16
Hi, I am confused as my MSE Switch Sept 15 bill states my standing charge of £15.64 and kWh charge of £10.25. Cheap Energy club says I will save £12 a year, but states the new MSE Switch Feb 16 standing charge is £16.422 and kWh charge of £10.322. Anyone understand why more expensive standing charge and kWh price results…

Hi I'm a British Gas dual fuel customer. Currently I'm on "Collective Fix November 2016" I've been reading about the latest Cheap Energy Club "February collective fix". Shot in the foot?
Apologies if this topic has been covered already but I've searched and not found anything, so... Clearly, I'm not the only person having difficulties switching to (and from) another collective fixed energy tariff arranged by MSE Energy Club. Whilst I appreciate MSE's efforts in arranging all this - I really do - I'm…

Atrocious Scottish Power customer service
My daughter obtains her electricity from Scottish Power and has a prepayment meter in her garage. She tops up her key at a local newsagent when her credit is running low. She has lived at this property for ~4 years, this is her first property so she did not carry over any debt from a previous property. She has been getting…

Cheapenergyclub/GreatBritishcollective conflicting reports
Hi! I used to run searches for best gas and electricity providers in different comparison sites through MSE and they would have more or less the same results. Now there seems to be one BIG site for MSE: the Cheap Energy Club. Then there is the "Great British Collective" site where they choose the "winners" which have been…

Completing comparison form
I am trying to see if the change to British Gas from Ovo (elec & gas) would be beneficial. However my Ovo Tariff is not listed - 'Better Energy Fixed (all online) end date 31/8/2016. I have used the nearest online equivalent on the form but despite the site telling me I can save up to £300+ annually, the unit price for…
