Is it too early to start switch?
I've switched a few times in the past, but this is the first time I've had an early exit penalty. With Cooperative Energy, Fix ends 31st March. Their customer service is beyond awful ... Now, I know they can't charge if I leave in the last 50 days of that, but how soon can I safely start the switch process? Cheap Energy…

Accidently filled in wrong Customer Number
I was filling in a form to switch energy and accidentally used the wrong customer number and gas meter point reference number. Is there a way to cancel the form? Should I fill in another application via MSE? Should I wait for British Gas to contact me then correct it. Please and thanks

MSE Cheap Energy club collective switch - British Gas want £215 upfront!!!
I applied to switch to British Gas last week through the current MoneySavingExpert collective switch. I was a bit wary as I've had trouble with British Gas in the past but thought I'd give it a go. I received a welcome email a couple of days ago, so I was impressed with the speed of things so far. However today I've…

Can I switch again?
Hi, I was with Sainsburys Energy and recently did a switch to British Gas (In Dec or Jan) as it was allowing a switch without penalty. That switch is now completed and I am fixed until Dec 2016. The new Cheap Energy Club offer is again cheaper than the one I am on and it allows me to switch without penalty again for a fix…

Scottish Power - Final Bill after 13 months of no contact
So basically, mine and my flatmates tenancy finished July 2014. In August 2015, Scottish Power sent me a request to pay the final balance of £210. Previous to that I ensured I contacted all of our providers and settled any outstanding balances. I think its pretty unfair that after 13 month Scottish Power are sending me…

Scottish Power DD Pain In The R's
Hi all, Scottish Power done it again! A couple of months ago they reduced our monthly DD by 50% due to us having a 'credit balance'. We called them and requested it be returned to original figure, this was done so I thought no more of it. The other day the missus checked her account and Scottish Power DD was less than…

switching from prepaid to monthly bills
We are currently paying for our gas with Npower by direct debit but paying for our electricity by prepaid key with Eon. Is it possible to switch supplier and change the key meter to monthly direct debit and also switch our gas supplier so we can pay a cheaper rate for both fuels with the same supplier by direct debit.

Warm Home Discount Refund
I am with EDF and have just received my warm home discount rebate of £140 which has put my account in credit by exactly that amount. I am a low electricity user and only pay £14 a month so the warm home rebate will most likely cover my usage for the entire year. I would like to know if I can request that £140 as a refund…

Normal cost for boiler installation
Hi all, My gas combi boiler broke beyond repair. British Gas say they can't replace it as the way the flue exits the apartment is not compatible with their boilers (the flue pipe is 80mm). I got a quote for installation a Heatrea Electromax electric boiler, but at £4,500 it seems quite expensive. I also think the boiler is…

Unable to Change to v19
I'm currently on the standard package and receive paper bills which I pay on receipt. I've realised that I could save as much as £500 on both my electric and gas if I switch to v19 but unfortunately I had a great deal of difficulty achieving this yesterday. First of all, I tried to call eon but was on hold for about 15…
