Switching from SSE Prepayment
Moved into new flat and it has SSE pre-payment meters. I would like credit meters as easier to manage with direct debit. SSE said they will charge £104 to change both meters? Anyone have any experience of switching supplier and they will do for a better rate or even better, free!? Thanks

Current Provider
Hi, This might be a stupid question but. I am moving into a private rented house and I need to find out who the current gas and electricity supplier are before I move in preferably so I can look at the tariff and decide if I need to change them. Is there any way I can find this out without going through the letting agents?…

Are there any tariffs for very low electricity users?
I'm leaving EON because I've had no end of trouble with them, and so now I'm looking for another electricity supplier. The thing is, for various reasons, my electricity usage is really tiny. From what I can see in my present bills, I seem to be paying more in the standing charge than I am for the electricity. It feels as…

Energy bills
Just had a notification from First Utility, announcing that they are reducing tariffs to four. This means eliminating the cheapest tariff - the one I was on! This is the second time they have done this to me. When I started with them, direct debits were £42 p.m. They then found they were making a loss so my payments have…
