Current Provider

Hi,

This might be a stupid question but. I am moving into a private rented house and I need to find out who the current gas and electricity supplier are before I move in preferably so I can look at the tariff and decide if I need to change them. Is there any way I can find this out without going through the letting agents?

Regards
:D

You will be in a deemed contract with the existing supplier, so you can't change until you register with them.
Google 'how to find my electricity/gas supplier' (or you could ask the current tenants)
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Thanks for the quick reply. I have found some information on older posts and Google.

    Many Thanks
