Switching from SSE Prepayment

Moved into new flat and it has SSE pre-payment meters. I would like credit meters as easier to manage with direct debit. SSE said they will charge £104 to change both meters?
Anyone have any experience of switching supplier and they will do for a better rate or even better, free!?
Thanks

The average charge is £50-60 per meter. Some may do it for free but this is typically after you have been with them for some time.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
