Hi Just moved into a new house where the previous owners kept there heating and hot water on all the time, regulating the temp with the thermostat. I have always put my heating on a timer for a few hours each day. What is more cost effective?

Buy a 500 watt heater to slash heating costs
We bought a 500 watt fan heater to heat our lounge. Regardless of lounge size, if you sit within about 8 feet of the heater you will be toastie and you can leave it on for 14 hours a day for £1 at current prices (14p per KWH).
