a time limit from meter read to bill?

is there a set time limit from submitting a meter read to getting an updated bill,(currently with Npower) yes I know they have system issues at the mo aswell, I,m sure I saw somewhere they had 10 days i think it was, but cant remember where I saw it now.

and if its past 10 days can you put a complaint n claim/are you entitled to any form of compensation if they fail to meet this ?

npower bill twice yearly. Randomly submitting a reading has no direct impact on bill generation unlike with some other providers. If you've received an email from them asking for a reading your bill may be due to be issued in a few weeks' time.

just got off the phone to npower, and they say different, I explained they haven't produced a bill since I entered my readings on the 4th dec, they apologised etc etc, gave them the readings again and said it will be updated within 3-5 days. will soon see in the coming days I guess
